School dismissal manager (Sdm)

Creekside Elementary uses School Dismissal Manager and requests all families set up an account in SDM in order to select a method of transportation for their children.

Car Rider Dismissal Procedures

• Car riders are dismissed through the rear entrance at 3:50 P.M.
• Parents are asked to refrain from lining up until AFTER 3:15 PM. We use the car loop for PE classes and during recess.
• Parents are asked to use two lanes and pull all the way forward to the yield line.
• Please do NOT switch lanes once you have checked in as this creates confusion in our system.
• Turn off car engines in the loading zone for safety.
• Refrain from cell phone usage in the loading zone.
• After you have arrived in the loading zone, a faculty member will approach your car with a QR code. Login to your SDM account and click the blue rectangular button to Check-In for that day. A camera will appear allowing you to scan the QR code. The code alerts your child in the classroom, that you have arrived. o A NEW change for this year - after you scan the QR code, your screen will change to a blue box asking you to click a small green button to confirm you are checking in. This allows parents to double check your are picking up the correct students before you check in. o Another NEW change - Parents will get a car # allowing you to know where you are in line.
• Once in the loading zone, parents should exit their cars and move to the sidewalk beside their vehicles, so it is easier for students to locate you.
• Once students are released, they will walk out in the direction of their vehicles.
• Please load quickly and buckle up for safety. Engines should remain off until staff indicate it is time to start engines.
• Patience and consideration for the safety of students and courtesy to staff is appreciated. The safety of our students is a priority.
